ITV STUDIOS MIPTV Stand

 

ORM are at the MIPTV event in Cannes this week working on the ITV STUDIOS stand. We’ve been busy for the last three months creating the Touchscreen kiosk application and technology, stand graphics, brochures and other marketing materials around this important TV industry event.

Testing, Testing...

6th April 2010

 

This week sees the launch of a new touchscreen installation for one of our clients. This is the culmination of 3 months work which finished last week with a successful user acceptance testing session on 25 networked machines. 

The touchscreen itself is a database driven Adobe Air application and provides an interactive show case for our client's products. It will be used by their sales team during the MIPTV show in Cannes to help sell their content to other TV companies in Europe and around the world.

Google's Nexus One vs iPhone

10th February 2010

ORM are working on application UI design for a number of mobile projects for some major financial institutions. They are predominantly apps for iPhone but we're now seeing a lot more interest in the Android platform. We got ourselves a few Google Nexus One's at the beginning of the year and have been living with them side by side with our iPhones to compare.

The Christmas Noose

We let the accounts team book our Christmas party this year and for some strange reason they decided we should spend a night of blood, guts and execution at the London Dungeons (was the year that bad guys?).

Renault Loves...

2nd November 2009

We have recently launched a microsite campaign to promote Renault’s sponsorship of films on the Channel 4 and Film4 network. The campaign will run over the next nine months and features a monthly film quiz with information about Renault’s Mégane range of cars and drivers to the Renault website.
